AWARDS & RECOGNITION

CMS 5-Star Center Recognition

Our Center has received a Five Star Quality Measures rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The Five-Star Quality Rating System is a tool to help consumers select and compare skilled nursing care centers.  Created by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2008, the rating system uses information from Health Care Surveys (both standard and complaint), Quality Measures, and Staffing. The Nursing Home Compare website features the rating system.

Google 4+ Customer Rating

Handling more than 5.4 billion searches per day, Google is the most used search engine on the World Wide Web. To help their algorithms sort through billions of web pages and provide the most relevant results to their users, Google provides consumers with an opportunity to leave a business review, which includes a rating from one star (poor) to five stars (excellent). Google then averages the ratings to determine an overall star rating.

Governor’s Gold Seal

Our Center has been recognized by the Governor of Florida’s office as a Gold Seal Program award winner. This prestigious award recognizes nursing home facilities that demonstrate excellence in long-term care over a sustained period, promotes the stability of the industry and facilitates the physical, social, and emotional well-being of nursing home facility residents.

My grandmother was put in Royal Oaks for her severe dementia and tendency to wander as I couldn't take care of her anymore (I am a mother of 3 boys, was working, etc). I hated the idea of her being somewhere else than with family, but the experience we had was nothing short of amazing. She was with family. All the nurses and cna's tool exceptional care of her and kept us up to date promptly on her condition/status or any changes bring made. What an exceptional facility, and with her passing, they were so caring, professional, and respectful. Thank you personally from Sally's entire family for the great care and especially to the wonderful staff members who kept us updated even when they were assigned to her or even on shift!

The facility is very clean, the staff is extremely nice. However, they do not have enough staff. They always seem short handed and my mom will call for help just to go to the bathroom and wait so long she cannot make it...this is very upsetting to her.
